Computer Laboratory

Recognizing the growing importance of computer literacy and digital skills in higher education, the college has established a well-equipped and technologically advanced Computer Laboratory to provide students with hands-on exposure to contemporary computing tools and applications. The laboratory has a seating capacity of approximately 70 students at a time and is designed to support effective teaching, learning, research, and academic activities.

The laboratory is equipped with high-performance computers, LAN and WAN connectivity, wireless Internet services, LCD projection facilities, printers, and other essential hardware and software resources. It is fully air-conditioned and adequately ventilated, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for practical learning and academic work.

The Computer Laboratory is accessible to students, faculty members, and administrative staff, enabling them to utilize digital resources for a wide range of academic and professional activities. These include preparing assignments and academic documents, developing websites, conducting data analysis, accessing online library and learning resources, communicating through email, preparing presentations, and carrying out various computer-based academic tasks.

The laboratory provides a range of software applications to support word processing, statistical analysis, spreadsheet management, database management, graphic designing, and website development. The availability of diverse software tools enables users to develop practical and digital competencies relevant to their academic programmes and professional requirements.

The computers are appropriately configured to meet the academic and practical requirements of users. Hardware and software resources are regularly upgraded and updated in accordance with the evolving university curriculum, technological advancements, and changing software requirements. Through these facilities, the Computer Laboratory plays an important role in promoting digital literacy, practical learning, and technology-enabled education among students.
