Classroom to Cargo: 40 Students explored the Engine Room of Indian Trade where theory met practice this 11th March as 40 enthusiastic students stepped out of the classroom and into the heart of India's economy. Thanks to the generous support of Bharat Care and YES Bank Limited, our students spent the day exploring the massive operations of the Adani Group in Hazira.
The Highlights:
- Logistics in Motion: At Adani Port, students saw the ‘how’ behind global trade. From the intricacies of crane operations to the high-tech automation of fuel tanks, the scale of the maritime industry became a tangible reality.
- The FMCG Journey: At Adani Wilmar, the focus shifted to consumer goods. Students tracked the journey of edible oils from global imports to the final automated packaging line, sparking discussions on quality control and industrial scale.
The visit concluded with a focus on the future. By interacting with industry experts, students identified emerging entrepreneurial paths and career opportunities within both the logistics and FMCG sectors, returning with a clearer vision of their professional futures.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
- The academic year 2025-26 has been a milestone year for Career Guidance and Placement Cell. By diversifying our collaborations—ranging from private recruiters and CSR-funded training to competitive exam coaching—we have ensured a holistic support system for our students. In alignment with NEP 2020, the cell successfully formalised three significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the academic year to enhance the employability and vocational skills of our students.
- The college signed an MoU with Recruito Private Limited with an objective to provide structured training and placement.
- The cell finalized a strategic collaboration with Bharat Care SMEC Trust, Rajkot, backed by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of YES Bank Limited. Under this MoU, students benefited from a one-month free professional training program.
- Recognizing the high interest of students in government sector careers, an MoU was signed with ExamShala. Specialized seminars and guidance sessions were conducted for B.Com and M.com students. These MoUs have not only improved placement statistics but have also fostered a culture of continuous learning and career resilience
